Indoor games are an integral part of school activities, supported by necessary resources. Qualified physical training instructors supervise students’ physical training and all grades have regular sports periods during the week.

Swimming

The Swimming in Schools initiative provides funding to contribute to the cost of delivering quality swimming and water safety education.

Chess

Chess can help kids to think ahead, not rush their decisions, and weigh the advantages and disadvantages of their choices. Chess develops creativity, builds confidence, develops problem-solving skills and exercises the brain. Children who play chess significantly improve their visual memory, attention span, and spatial-reasoning ability.

Table Tennis

Table tennis is the perfect inclusive sport for schools where a wide range of athletic ability exists in any year group. The core skills involved, hand eye co-ordination, concentration and body positioning, are skills that are important in most other sports.
